Of bankers, optimism and friendly folks; AV Press 5/11/2010

EFCU members are already familiar with the outstanding benefits credit unions provide. Thanks to CBS's Early Show, the credit union difference was made apparent to viewers across the nation. According to Vera Gibbons, the Early Show's financial contributor, credit union member growth is up by 11 percent over the past year. Gibbons compared credit unions with banks and strongly encouraged viewers to make the switch if they were unhappy with their current financial relationship, adding that 90 million Americans now belong to a credit union.  CBS's "Early Show" highlights credit unions - December 17, 2009
